Although Puppy Parties are great fun, there is a very serious side to them.
From birth to 14 weeks, anything a puppy experiences within this time period becomes a normal part of their every day life. After this time period, any unfamiliar objects, noises and experiences can be greeted with fearful aggression as the puppy doesn’t understand what this new thing is. Fearful aggression leads to biting and in worst case scenarios euthanasia is the only option.
The parties are aimed to be fun, lively, informative and well worth a visit.
We will be running the puppy parties on a Tuesday evening in our Nailsworth branch 6-7:15pm and Thursday evening at our Stroud branch from 6pm-7.15pm. They are Free of charge as we understand as a practice the costs involved in owning a puppy. There is however a maximum of 5 puppies per session so booking is advised.
