All fees, diet and drug charges are subject to VAT at the current rate. Fee levels are determined by the time spent on a case and the drugs, materials, consumables and diets used. Details of our fees are available on request and a detailed invoice is provided for every consultation, procedure or transaction. Estimates can also be provided on request – see details below.

Estimates of treatment costs

We will, upon request, be pleased to provide
a written estimate of the probable costs of treatment, but please bear in mind that this can only be approximate as sometimes an animal’s treatment may not follow a conventional course.

Methods of payment

Accounts are due for settlement in full at the end of the consultation, the discharge of your animal or upon collection of drugs/diets.
Your account may be settled using:
• Cash
• Cheque with current banker’s card
• Credit / Debit card – Switch, Solo, Delta, Mastercard or Visa

Whilst procedures such as consultations, vaccinations and neuterings have standard prices, the charges for most surgical operations are based on the time that they take.

The costs of blood tests, x-rays, dressings, drugs, hospitalisation and any special materials (e.g. orthopaedic implants) are added to
the surgical fee, which could, in some circumstances, mean the final charge for surgery could exceed £1000.00, especially if prolonged hospitalisation is needed.
You may, therefore, like to consider the insurance policies that are available to cover veterinary fees.

We recommend you take your time over choosing the correct insurance for your pet and that you choose a ‘cover for life’ policy. For more information, please speak to a member of staff.
